Atta Ladoo

Whole wheat flour (Atta)   - 2 cup

Ghee                                   - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder             - 1/4 tsp
Sugar (powdered)               - 1 cup
Almond (crushed)               - 1/4 cup (optional)
Raisins and cashew nuts     - as needed
Preparation
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nuts, almonds and raisins and transfer them to a plate. 
  • Then roast whole wheat flour in remaining heated ghee in the same pan on medium heat until it begins to smell nice. 
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix well. Stir continuously. 
  • Then transfer this into a bowl and add raisins, cashew nuts and almonds to it. Mix well and allow them to cool until warm enough to handle. 
  • Take small portions of the mix and roll to balls. Store atta ladoo in an airtight jar.
