Besan Ladoo

Ingredients

Gram flour                 - 2 cup
Sugar (powdered)      - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder    - 1/2 tbsp
Ghee                          - 1/2 cup
Raisins and cashew nuts - as needed
Almond and pistachios   - as needed for garnish (optional)
Preparation
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nuts and raisins and transfer them to a plate. 
  • Then roast gram flour in remaining heated ghee in the same pan on medium heat until it turns golden brown and smell nice. 
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix well. Stir continuously. 
  • Then transfer this into a bowl and add raisins and cashew nuts to it. Mix well and allow them to cool until warm enough to handle. 
  • Take small portions of the mix and roll to balls. Garnish the ladoo with almonds slice and pistachios. 
  • Store besan ladoo in an airtight jar.
