Carrot halwa is also known as gajar ka halwa which is a traditional Indian halwa sweet made by carrots in milk. Let's start to prepare yummy delicious halwa!.

Preparation
- Heat ghee in a pan. Roast the cashew nuts and keep aside.
- Then boil the milk in a pan. Add the grated carrots to it. Stir occasionally. Cook until the milk has completely evaporated.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder and ghee to it and mix well. Sugar will release a lot of moisture. Continue to cook until the halwa thickens.
- Transfer the halwa to a bowl and garnish with nuts. Now your halwa is ready. Serve the carrot halwa warm or chilled.
Useful tips:
- Always use fresh carrots that are less fibrous.
- You can also use almond, saffron, and pistachios for garnish the halwa.
