Saltless butter - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Egg yolks - 2 large eggs
White flour - 2 cup
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine the flour and sugar to a smooth paste. Add the egg yolks one by one and beat well.
- Add vanilla essence. Sift the white flour, baking powder and salt and keep aside.
- Divide into two portions. Combine each portion separately with the butter and sugar, wrap in two plastic wraps and cool in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Dab flour on a tray and roll out to dough. Cut out different shapes using cookie cutters.
- Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes till the edges turn golden brown.
