Cabbage thoran

    Ingredients
    Cabbage               - 1/2 of one medium-sized cabbage (finely chopped)
      Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
        Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup
          Green chillies      - 3 to 4

                Preparation
                • Using your hands, mix grated coconut with turmeric powder and salt or you can just pulse 1 time everything together coarsely in a blender.
                • Heat oil in a pan. Add the cabbage to the pan and saute well.
                • Then add the coconut mixture and green chillies to it. Mix everything together.
                • Cover the pan and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally. If the cabbage starts sticking to the bottom of the pan, then sprinkle some water all over and cook again.
                • Cook till the cabbage is tender.

                                • Mix grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder together in a bowl. Mix well and keep aside.
                                • Add water and a pinch of salt to the wheat flour and mix it to make dosa batter consistency. The batter should neither be thick nor too thin.
